Winning Through Service

Winning Through Service

Throughout my nearly two decades of work with AmeriPark, I’ve often been asked the question, “How do you stay so long with the same company?” While many answers to this question come to mind regarding the people I work with and the opportunities within our organization, I believe that the most important reason is that my personal values and beliefs closely align with that of our company. From a young age, I was taught that giving back when you’ve been blessed with so much is not just the right thing to do—it’s the only thing to do.

Beyond Parking Management

In the parking industry, our role is inherently service-based. We pride ourselves in “winning through service,” with core values of passion and inspiration, integrity and trust, and service excellence. But the impact we make is not limited to the confines of the parking garage or the valet stand. We are in a unique position to work with a plethora of diverse clients, from municipalities and mixed-use facilities to hotels and hospitals, and everything in-between. With this comes the opportunity to give back to—and to become a part of—the organizations and communities in which we serve.

My first glimpse into the true importance of community involvement from a professional standpoint took place when I was a valet. I had the privilege to join some members of the corporate staff to serve lunches at the Women’s Community Kitchen in Metro Atlanta as part of an organization with Action Ministries. From that day forward, I felt more connected to AmeriPark, yearning for my next chance to serve alongside my colleagues. And it wasn’t just me—when word spread of these opportunities, the wait list for valets to be involved spanned for months!

Thankfully, as the company grew, so did the chances to give back. Teaming with both local and national clients, this year alone we have been able to work with multiple charity organizations such as Phoenix Children's Foundation, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Toys for Tots, Cook for Charity and many more. I even got to tour a local Simon Youth Foundation school and visit with teachers, students, and administrators, and hear the wonderful stories that make all the hard work worthwhile.

The value and importance of community involvement from a professional standpoint is no secret—I’ve experienced it first-hand. It comes down to the fact that most people thrive on collaboration and directly contributing to the communities they make up.  Social responsibility on a corporate and personal level effectively creates more loyal employees, clients, customers, and an overall positive company culture. Most importantly, it gives us the opportunity to make a positive impact in the world around us.

Our commitment to service is all-encompassing. As a service-based company spanning the United States, we are thrilled to have a unique platform to engage with our respective communities nationwide. With each client comes an opportunity to showcase our service offering and a chance to forge meaningful and lasting relationships with the community at hand.
