Citizens Insider: Maurice Savage

Lanier Parking aims to go above and beyond in providing the best experience for our parkers. When we first moved to the Baltimore area in 2016, that mindset of excellence expanded with new territory and new employees.

Maurice Savage joined the Lanier team as a Parking Attendant at the 30 Light Street garage in Baltimore in September of 2016. In this role, it’s clear that Maurice thoroughly enjoys interacting with customers, as he always provides a wave and a smile, striving each day to set a high standard for the Lanier name and to set us apart from our competitors. He challenges himself each day to be better than he was the day before, using a list of goals, tasks, and areas where he feels he can improve. By setting goals for himself, Maurice holds himself accountable to growing as an employee.

Speaking on his career at Lanier, Maurice says, “At this job, I feel like my talents are used in the right way and my work ethic is appreciated.” And according to Manager Brian Dudek, Maurice is correct: “Maurice has been an integral part of the up keep and customer service that is provided at the 30 Light Street garage. He continually received praise from our monthly and daily parkers who he helps with ticket issues, payments, questions, and so on. I am very proud and thankful to have him on my team.”

Family is important to Maurice. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with him children and his girlfriend. He is also an avid fan of basketball and flag football and enjoys playing the two when he can. In all things, his ambitious spirit pushes him to plan and work toward the best life he could possibly live.
