We are proud to recognize Greenville Memorial Hospital Valet Attendant Ken Sykes. Ken recently assisted in saving a life after a car with a non-responsive patient arrived at the valet stand. He immediately notified security, as well as the rapid response team, and the patient was able to be revived. Thank you, Ken, for your quick thinking. We are proud to have you on our team!
Inspired by his love for cars and driving, Ken joined the Greenville Memorial Hospital valet team six months ago. In this role, he enjoys working with patients and visitors to ensure their visits are as comfortable as possible from arrival to departure.
Ken is a stand-out valet. There are additional healthcare-specific factors that come in to play at hospital valet operations, and he’s found the key to success lies in maintaining his focus at all times. Supervisor Danny Propes says, “Ken has shown a lot of growth and potential. He has stepped into the afternoon shift at Greenville Memorial Hospital and brought us the consistency we all really needed. He’s become an integral member of our team, here.”
Kenneth has a lot to be proud of in and outside of work. He graduated with a 3.5 grade point average and prides himself in the customer service skills he has learned in the field. Looking forward, he hopes to own his own business one day. In his off time, Ken plays sports and watches his favorite basketball player, Kevin Durant. He also enjoys spending time with his family.
Thank you, Kenneth, for being an exemplary employee and for representing our brand with pride. We are glad to have you on the team.
